Who we are at Vobr Niemeyer, LLC Professional Surveying

Matt Vobr and Dave Niemeyer have over a combined 40 years of land surveying, construction staking, acquisition plat preparation, and boundary surveying experience from working together at an ENR 500 multi discipline engineering firm located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  We apply our experience to provide our clients with a high quality product by utilizing the latest in robotic total station, GPS and data collection technology.

Professional Land Surveyor with over 15 years of experience working for a private engineering consulting firm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a small private Land Survey company in La Porte City, Iowa. Matt is a 2001 graduate of Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa with an A.A.S. degree in Civil and Construction Engineering Technology and became licensed Professional Land Survey in the state of Iowa in 2012.

Dave Niemeyer, LSIT

Survey crew chief with over 25 years of experience working for both public engineering companies in California and for a private engineering consulting firm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa along with a small private Land Survey Company in La Porte City, Iowa.  Dave graduated from Mount Mercy University with a B.S. degree in Business and became a Land Surveyor in Training in 2008.
